Arrested Development and Philosophy

An article in about the new book Arrested Development and Philosophy edited by Phillips, Wisnewski, and Irwin

A bit about the book and the TV series.

“[William] Irwin has helmed the pop culture philosophy series since 1999, beginning with "Seinfeld and Philosophy." Since then, he and a troop of philosophers from around the country have mined insights from television shows, movies and musical groups to make the discipline more accessible to the average person. The initial book was borne from Irwin's idea that a wildly popular television show like "Seinfeld" allowed for a "common language," bringing philosophical thought to a wide audience using relatable examples.”
